Description: Stress Analyst for Structural Repairs The World's Leading
Aerospace Manufacturer in the Puget Sound Area is seeking a Stress Analyst
for Structural Repairs.Perform stress analysis of structural repairs to
airplane primary and secondary structure in support of the Structural Repair
Manual (SRM). Work with DER's, and interface with airline customers and
other organizations to resolve in-service issues/queries.

REQUIREMENTS:Only "U.S. persons" can be assigned to this position. "U.S.
persons" consists of the following categories of people: 1. A citizen or
national of the United States. 2. An alien lawfully admitted for permanent
residence (i.e., a "green card" holder). 3. An alien admitted to the United
States as a refugee. 4. An alien granted asylum in the United States. 5.
Someone granted the status of an alien lawfully admitted for temporary
residence as a (i) Special Agricultural Worker or (ii) Amnesty Applicant (a
special program for persons who entered the United States before January 1,
1982 and have continuously resided in the United States in an unlawful
status since that time, and meet certain special filing requirements).
Knowledge of fatigue, damage tolerance, and finite element analysis method
is required.. The ability to interpret drawings, material and process
specifications, and other engineering data is required. Experience with
airline repair practices on any 727-777 models is desired. Good coordination
and communication skills are desired. EDUCATION: BS or MS in Aero,
Mechanical or Civil Engineering is required. Two or more years of prior
commercial or military aircraft stress experience is required.

Fatigue Analysis Engineer. Perform analysis, research, development and test
work on sustaining or derivatived airplane development relating to the
fields of internal loads, strengths, stiffness, stability, durability,
damage tolerance and corrosion resistance of structures and materials. The
work also encompasses development of design criteria, design allowables and
structural modelling techniques. Other responsibilities include strength
checking, durability predictions, formal analysis preparation for
certification and approval of structures drawings and data sets. Experience
preferred, but not required.
