The ('97) provisions are meant to be a complementary document to those
manuals for use in seismic regions. At least that is what my understanding
is.

Are the AISC  -Seismic Provisions for Structural  Steel Buildings, 1997
compatible with the latest AISC- Manual of Steel Construction and ASD ?
