Thanks for the input. Treating it as a nonstructural component with hx/hr =0
sounds about right, but I think Formula 32-3 would govern. Using Formulas
30-4 and 30-5 gets the forces pretty high if an R of 2.2 from Table 16-P is
used which seems logical. Section 1634.5 states that these formulas must be
used if greater than values from formulas 34-2 and 34-3.
