Retaining Wall Collapse - Nogales, Sonor

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
The Arizona Daily Star newspaper (www.azstarnet.com) this morning reported
that a retaining wall in the border town of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico collapsed
over the weekend, raining debris into a school which, thankfully, was
unoccupied.

The wall was part of a recently constructed public housing project and heavy
weekend rains and snow probably contributed to the collapse.

No technical details of the the collapse are available.
