RE: Seattle Earthquake

It's a good commentary of our modern era that I'm sitting here in the
greater Seattle era, and I'm getting my news from www.cnn.com, just like
everyone else. I haven't heard any surprises so far. Most of the damage I
have heard of is in old brick buildings and fascia. I hope that is the
worst of it. I work in a very new part of town, with lots of 1980s or later
buildings, and everything here visually looks much the same as it did this
morning. Perhaps the excellent performance of most newer Washington state
buildings will elevate the status of the SEAW and its members? :)
