The Army rope bridge references are limited to spans for 150 feet, see Field
Manual 5-34, Engineer Field Data and do not address anchorage in rock.  For
a span of 400 feet you would need a rope rated for a load for about 10k and
an anchorage that can develop a working load in tension of 10k.
