Many times there is a manufacturer's logo on the end wall at the rigid
line.  If not, someone (Owner, Bldg. Inspector, Plan Reviewer, other
contractors) might remember who the general contractor was and you could
track who the manufacturer was that way.

I would recommend that you analyze it as a 2D frame with the girder and
the tapered column as part of the model.

Depending on who the manufacturer was, there may even be A36 webs and
grade 50 flanges.

Also don't forget that if the mechanical unit is large, it may cause
drifted snow around it.
