SEAOSC PRACTICAL DESIGN & DETAILING SEMINAR

The Structural Engineers Association of Southern California (SEAOSC) will
present the following subjects at the Practical Design & Detailing Seminar
next Wednesday:

"Guidelines for Seismic Retrofit of Existing Buildings and Update on LA City
Division 91" by David Chang, S.E.

"Classification and Design of Tilt Up Shear Walls" by John Lawson, S.E.

"Precast Building System Design Techniques (based on the current findings of
the PRESS Research Program)" by John Stanton, Ph.D. and Suzanne Dow Nakaki,
S.E.  

Note: Stanton and Nakaki will also present the background of the PRESS
research during the dinner meeting following the seminar.
