I both agree and disagree (how's that for Mugwumpery?)
 
On the one hand I say "poorly paid compared to what?" I think a LOT of professions are "poorly paid" such as Nursing, or Military pilots.
 
On the other hand, I sure ain't gettin' rich. And I know a few lawyers whom the latchet of my shoe they are not fit to tie, but they ARE gettin' rich.
