Re: Group Health Insurance Plans

Dennis,

The best plan we (read the "we" as "my wife" who is a former claims adjuster
and underwriter) found was the ACEC plan. I had been on that plan
previously with some of my employers and now that I am a sole proprietor
(with no employees) it still is the best one that we could find. It's not
cheap, but they actually provide coverage. You do have to be a member of
your state engineering society, NES, and ACEC to be eligible. The annual
cost for all those dues amounted to about $60.00 a month and the plan was
still better than the rest we looked at (including ASCE).

We were not looking for lowest premiums, we were looking for best value.
