[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next] Jeffrey,

Which operating system are you using?

Graphics.com and Graphics.pro are included in WinNT/2000 in \winnt\system32. Graphics.com simply needs to be included in the autoexec.nt file with a printer name extension. Information on the extension can be found in the graphics.pro file.

If you have Win95/win98, there is a copy available for download on my website (http://www.raptsoftware.com) with instructions for its use in the FAQ section (in fact there is also a program for download that will try to install it for you but it may not be successful depending on your computer). To use it without modification will cause an error "version mismatch" as Windows will load it as version 7.00 (win 95/98 thinks of itself as DOS 7 internally) and the graphics files think they are version 6.22.

My employer just loves this old DOS program, a structural analysis program using finite elements. He would like to be able to print the graphical mode previews.  When DOS was the operating system, apparently all you needed to do was run the GRAPHICS.COM program prior to running the SAFE3PRE program (the one where you can view the model in a graphical mode).

Does anyone have GRAPHICS.COM on an old DOS disk sitting around?

OR, does anyone have an idea on how to get this graphic to print directly to the printer?
