RE: PDA

Check Structuralist.net, in the PDA forum.

Also check www.memoware.com, under the engineering section, there are some
steel section properties in MobileDB format. There is a program on
palmgear.com, search for "babyfoot", it designs concrete footers, but you
can't do much with it if you don't pay and get it registered.
I use quicksheet for palm, and made some simple, very simple, spreadsheet
for it. It's simple because it's not Excel (that's where PocketPC rules,
but at a cost of memory and $). But it works. I had one spreadsheet for
figuring out wind load using UBC97/CBC98, and snow drift calcs using
ASCE7-95.
AppForge (www.appforge.com) makes a Visual Basic addon which you can use to
complie yor VB code to be used on Palm, but it's too rich for me at $300 a
copy.
Good luck finding some useful engineering Palm program, and sharing it if
you don't mind. :)

Speaking of PDA's. Does anyone know of any good structural software or
references for the palm? The only thing that I have run across is a Wood
Beams Properties database in ThinkDB format.

Thanks
