Don't use masonry cement....except maybe in a single story brick veneer

Use mortar.

Subject: Masonry Cement

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using premix masonry cement
vs. mixing on site. Strength, workability, freeze thaw resistance, water
penetration, etc.
