RE: Chimney Spreadsheet

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
I have to design a steel stack. I have "Guide for Steel Stack
Construction," Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National
Association, Inc. (SMACNA).

It has been years since I've done a stack. The SMACNA guide looks pretty
good, but it leaves a couple of things to the imagination. For instance,
the method of determining the bending moment due to resonant wind (Mr) is
not provided.
