Re: field bending reinforcing

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
In the mid to late 1980s when I was working in New Zealand, a local testing agency carried out some tests on the re-bending of rebar and came up with the conclusion(s) I mentioned.

"When Adam was a cowboy" was a phrase my then boss, a crusty ex carpenter turned successful building contractor, used whenever he considered an event, or situation, to be self-evident.  It parallels the _expression_, "We've been doing it that way for 20 years ... !"  :^)  I tend to abuse the saying by trying to be witty.  Falls flat at times!

I didn't know that "steel" was available for "testing"
back in those days "WHEN ADAM WAS A COWBOY".

I'm really fascinated by this "bright" respone.

Could you please elaborate...........
