RE: Non-email based forum

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
I despise web-based forums for ventures such as this. Email is still far and
away the most popular way to communicate.

The "60-80" emails a day--I continue to wonder why this is a problem. Set up
a filter to put all SEAINT stuff in a separate folder (every email client
has this feature). Don't read the ones you don't find interesting. Delete
the lot when you're done. Easy.

Most web-based fora, even the most popular, are clumsy and difficult to
navigate, not to mention slow, when you have to wait for the page to reload
every time you drill down another level.

Yuck.

Have you guys thought about using a web based bulletin board
style forum rather than the current email based system?
