Re: non-load bearing light gauge studwalls - deflection track

Maybe this is a stretch, but how about UBC 1605.2 requiring
a complete load path.  If the studwalls don't have a deflection
track, then they could become load bearing, depending upon
the deflection of the system that they attaching to.

Does somebody really not want to do this?
