It should be noted that ACI 350.1R covers field testing of concrete liquid
containing structures for watertightness. It does not provide design
requirements for crack control. Concrete design should be in accordance with
ACI 350R-89. (A new ACI 350 code and new liquid tightness testing standard
are due to be published in early 2002.)
