Re: Wood Shearwall Deflection Calcs

I have a corrolary question or two:  How is the uplift force transferred to
the holdown if the contractor fails to nail the plywood sheathing to a
hold-down stud?  (I've seen it missed and had it corrected also.)  Does the
accuracy of the analysis match the accuracy of construction?
