Re: Splicing of precast concrete piles

I can understand the absence of a tensile load on a
pile. However, although the pile may experience only a
compressive load during service, some amount of
bending will occur during handling, pile driving as
well as due to inaccuracies  in pile fabrication.

Any reputed pile driving contractor should be able to
provide you with different splice designs.
