HP Calculators Not to Worry

Attention  SEAINT List:

I see the message thread on the HP Calculator demise has abated.

But I just received the following message

Seems that it is a rumor  that  the HP Calculator  is dying  or do you have
different information

This is what I received from Structural Engineer  magazine editors:

Hi Bob,

Actually, don't worry about it. We found out that it's just rumor - HP is
closing one plant in Australia and that's it.
