[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]

“Since the destruction of the World Trade Center towers structural engineers have become concerned with the viability and economics of creating new methods of design to prevent major collapse and loss of life in buildings subjected to blasts and impact attacks. Various schools have been doing research on blast resistant structures and engineers working in Risk Management Assessment are beginning to take notice. This List allows for open discussion between interested professionals currently working in this area of study. Because of the sensitive nature of these discussions, the List is restricted to approval by list moderators.”
