RE: Opinions Please: Composite Beam/Deck Slab

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
I confess to having not much experience with this, but it seems to me that
conduit in the floor is not uncommon at all.

I would wish to see that it is at the MIDDLE of the deck, not at the bottom
next to the decking, for a variety of reasons.

Subject: Opinions Please: Composite Beam/Deck Slab

Conduit has been laid on the deck. Concrete has not yet been placed, but is
scheduled to be placed tomorrow. Are there conditions in which conduit cast
horizontally in the plane of the slab is acceptable?
