Its quite normal to have conduits embedded horizontally in the slab.

If the counduits are too many & of larger diameter (vis-a-vis its thickness)
then there could be some cause of concern; even then we can do something to
make for concrete dispaced. Otherwise in your case, I don't think why you
can't proceed with the concreteing as it is.

Conduit has been laid on the deck.  Concrete has not yet been placed, but
is
scheduled to be placed tomorrow.  Are there conditions in which conduit
cast
horizontally in the plane of the slab is acceptable?
