Don't study from one of those huge textbooks like Lindberg. I bought a
smaller set of two books that guaranteed that you would pass or your money
back. It was much easier to learn the basics rather than waste time on the
harder stuff that won't be asked on the exam.
Borrow one of those fancy calculators that can solve differential equations
symbolically. It can do it faster and not make any mistakes. I had one
question on my exam and simply let the calculator solve it for me and moved
on.
Try and do the Civil portion in the afternoon exam instead of the general
portion. I think this will help prepare for the PE exam too.
