RE: wide format printer

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
Thanks for the reply Neil,

I am looking for a laser printer to do half size prints. The 600 is a plotter, right? I have a design jet plotter, but  I am finding its easier to just send out for full size plots from plot files, I will use half size for redlines and for in the field.

Regards,

Jeff

Jeff:

You can get a HP DesignJet 600 from $600 to $1000 on eBay.  I picked up a 2nd one for my other office just recently.  (Paid full price for the 1st one a number of years ago!)

Can anyone recommend a wide format monochrome laser printer for CAD work. I think the HP 5100 will do 12x18 if you open up the back to feed the paper. I am looking for a few printers to compare with the HP 5100, but I do not need one that is quite so robust, single user, network not required.
