heat transmission through firewall

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
Can someone help on the below subject:

There exists a firewall retrofitted with addition of steel plates on either side and tied with through bolts to provide out-of-plane stability under seismic events.

In case of a fire on one side of the firewall(hollow clay brick wall) how can be determined/calculated the heat transmission effect of bolts. Is this a big issue? Is there a simple way to consider such an effect?
