You forgot "spears" (i.e. "Spheres"). Yeah, I know, don't see too many of
those in structural, but I used to work for a tank company, and they made
large-diameter gas storage "spears" for the natural gas industry.

T.G.I.'s are on my list of "heard it wrong" They are on the shelf beside the
lentils, rebarbs, footers(yes it is footing not footer), colyums, cement and
the like.  Does anyone else have some good ones?
