In fact B25 means that  nominal strenght of the concrete, in compression, is
25 MPa (3626 Psi).

However, in Germany, as in my country, Portugal, the concrete strenght is
measured on 20 cm  cubic specimens (cubic strenght).
The EUA pratice, as in some others european standards, like CEB or  EC2, the
specified compressive concrete strenght  is obtained by tests on cylindric
specimens of  Ø 15 cm, h= 30 cm (6 in X 12 in).

1045 DIN refers that the relationship between the cubic strength (Bw) and
cylindric strength (Bc) is

Bc = 0.83 Bw
