RE: Building Codes Online?

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
I forgot to mention to you that you can secure PDF files so they can't
be copied or changed. There are some good security features included
with the program. While it may seem like a good idea to secure the
program, the fact is that it should be able to allow the user to
bookmark and highlight the features that they use the most - at least
this is important in the UBC and they don't have any problems allowing
the user to make these changes.
Tom, it's worth looking into - acrobat is an excellent program for the
money and the library grows large very quickly on PDF files as most
people use it more so than TIF or other graphic files.

The APA website features our most recent publications. I don't believe
any of the Research Reports are online. We are investigating ways to
improve the website for engineers -- including more technical documents,
research reports and laboratory reports.
