Bill:

Texas has an "equivalent" ADA and all plans are checked by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulations. A complete document of the Texas Accessibility Standards is available at:

     http://www.license.state.tx.us/AB/ab.htm

Under current state law, all public facilities and private facilities with public accomodations must have the drawings submitted with proper fees to the TDLR within 5 days of the issuing of the plans as defined by the law. It is the responsibility of the prime professional on the project to submit the plans.
