If the truss is bottom chord bearing, can you hold the elevation of the wall down a plate thickness, then install a bearing plate similar to the bearing plate at the top of a foundation wall, and nail per your wall shear requirements?  Then the vertical web member can act as a stud and be faced with plywood and nailed per the shear requirements at the studs and at the additional plate.

Run the studs full height , and give the mech certain areas to penetrate the wall.
Top chord bear the trusses.
