"SEAOI Sets Date to Party with the Animals."

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:
SEAOI (Structural Engineers Association of Illinois) will hold its Annual 
Banquet and present the Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards on 
Saturday, June 7, 2003 at Brookfield Zoo. This gala event is the highlight of 
the SEAOI activities each year. In addition to announcing the winners of the 
2003 Excellence in Structural Engineering Awards, the 2003-2004 SEAOI 
officers will be installed.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
Though this banquet will primarily be of interest to structural engineers, 
all those involved in the construction industry are welcome. Architects, 
contractors, building officials, and material suppliers are invited to join 
in honoring these exemplary projects. SEAOI events are open to the public, 
and all those interested in the influence of structural engineering on our 
society are cordially welcome to attend.

THE ARRANGEMENTS:
The festivities will take place at Brookfield Zoo in Brookfield, Illinois. 
Hors d'oeuvres will be served with an open bar. There will also be a silent 
auction and dinner with presentations to follow.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED:
The cost of the banquet will be set at a future date. Individuals who wish to 
attend this function should contact SEAOI Executive Secretary, Donna Childs 
at (312) 372-4198, by Friday, May 30, 2003.
