RE: latitude and longitude

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
It seems to me that Microsoft Streets and Trips has that option. I think I
paid less than $15 for it. (After rebate.)

Also, MapSend Streets and MapSend Topo have that option. For details see
http://www.magellangps.com/en/products/software.asp. They are made for use
with their GPS, but can be used on a PC without the GPS. The Topo software
has a print option while the other does not! You can shop on the Web for
these and find them at less than MSRP.

Subject: latitude and longitude

Tripp Howard's questions reminded me of a problem I've had for some time
now.

Does anyone know of a way to get the latitude and longitude for an address?
A free web-based search would be preferable, but a inexpensive purchased
software package will also work.

Several map sites (www.mapblast.com, for example) used to provide this
information.
