The opening is 8'-0" wide and the wall is 12" thick.
Mt. Richardson suggested 2 angles on each side connected with steel tabs,
and so I did.
I provided 2-L4"x4"x1/4" (for a moment of 8.9 kNm) connected with tabs @24".
