AISC Seismic Provisions and NASCC

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
Hi all,

I have four things to tell you about in this email.

First, the 2002 AISC Seismic Provisions are now available.

You can get this document free as a download like all other AISC
specifications and codes, or buy the printed copy.

Second (and third), as many of you requested, we have created integrated
versions of the 1997 AISC Seismic Provisions with the supplements
incorporated. One version has supplements 1 and 2 incorporated. The other
has supplement 1 only. My colleague Cindi Lanz gets the credit for creating
these documents.

These will be available as free downloads only. They are constructed as
clean copies with a bar in the margin denoting the revisions. Note that the
changes make the page numbers differ from the original Anyone wanting the
detailed changes can see them given in the stand-alone supplements, which
are also available at that link.

Fourth, if you have not already registered for the AISC North American Steel
Construction Conference (NASCC), it is coming in April. There is no better
opportunity to learn and meet people.

I hope to see you there.
