I'd not thought of searching the patents. A great idea. I cruised the site briefly this afternoon, and see that it'll probably take quite a bit of time to go track anything down from that time period. Maybe I'll get lucky this weekend and find something on these particular panels.

Have you tried searching the U. S. Patent Office files? I believe that it would be under classification, D25, Building units ... if it had been patented.

(For patents before 1970, you have to search using "classification.")
