That's right. Open structures are designed with the MWFRS pressures.

There does not seem to be much discussion on the design of open structures in the standard.  I would appreciate your feedback on the following observation. Table 6-9 force coefficients (Cf) for open buildings appear to have been adjusted to accomodate local areas of high pressure usually reflected in the component and cladding pressure tables.  Open buildings such as roof-over canopies, etc. do not appear to have a separate procedure for determining pressures on components & cladding.
