The 200# is to be applied at any location to produce maximum induced stress
at members and at connection.

Table 16-B of the CBC calls for a 20 plf horiz load applied at the top of
a residential deck guard rail. It also calls for a 200# concentrated load on
the completed handrail. Is the 200# load meant for a section/run
of rail, or is it per support?
