ASCE Technical Council on Lifeline Eq Engineering
Monograph No. 12, March 1998 says "In the US, there
are no national design standards applicable to
terminal crane structures" and goes on to give some
suggested guidelines for seismic design.

There is also a discussion of this subject in the
proposed revisions to the 2003 IBC.
