And don't forget, Don Gardner _sells_ books of plans, and then charges $.50/SF if you want a blueline. Extra charge for a mirror image (And not even a CAD mirror, with the text printing forward), plus $50-$150 a set for 8 D size sheets. Besides, have you seen his structural plans? A contractor client and I saved about $2500 worth of jog-here, jog there floor framing and offset masonry piers with a very simple (and seemingly obvious) steel main beam / upgraded joists. Based on the quality of the sets, I'd suspect he's got to be close to 18-20% re-use, and he disclaims everything that isn't sealed by a local professional.
