I get names in my 'book all the time. For some reason known only to M$,
Outlook seems to randomly add email addresses from even such sources as
mailing lists, etc. I have to go through and cull out "Contacts" from
Outlook from time to time, that often consist solely of email addresses.

IMO, M$ Outlook is one of the primary culprits in "harvesting" of email
addresses from the 'net.
