A friend of mine swears by LastBit.  I've never used them, but
he claims they've helped him recover several excel workbooks
from password-protected land.  Also, they appear to offer a
money-back guarantee (although how you would go about collecting
is a different matter).  They have a caveat about the form of encryption.
If it is a recent version (advanced exncryption in OFfice XP or 2003),
then it will fail out.  Details at:
