Did you lay out the roof plan and elevations, or did the architect?  There are some significant M.C. Escher-style issues that make that roof plan non-constructible.

FWIW, there’s no architect involved; the guy that did the design is a “Certified Building Designer,” which is one of those deals like “Registered Construction Specifier,” i.e. it has no legal standing, you just get a certificate.

I can only really find one “M. C. Escher” issue, and that’s minor; I corrected it on my own drawings. Can you point out the ones that you’re seeing?

He’s been doing this stuff for awhile, and it’s plain that he’s no architect, but I believe his plans get regularly built. Course, the builders may just do what they want to do when they encounter an “M. C. Escher” issue.
