RE: Frequently used steel sections in US

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
The American Institute of Steel Construction has an online database that
lists the manufacturers and which sections they?re currently producing. If
more manufacturers are producing a particular section it will be more
readily available.

http://www.aisc.org/Template.cfm?Section=Steel_Availability

If you want a complete list of sections including detailing and engineering
properties I think you?ll need to purchase AISC?s Manual of Steel
Construction (LRFD, 3rd Edition). It can be purchased on a different page
of the same website.
