If you don't do it from time to time, go ahead and "root around" in the Simpson Catalog.  Besides possibly seeing a piece of hardware that may fit your particular case better than the one suggested, you will probably see a "Gee, Icoulda used that on the last project" item or two, as well as plant something upstairs that'll come to mind when you need it on the next project.  It's not as much fun as browsing through a Restoration Hardware store, but it's the same idea.

Yeah, that sounds like what I need.

 

For the sake of time, is there a Simpson designation that you could give me? Else I’ll have to root around in their catalogue.
