It's the Taco Bell Science Discovery Center in Santa Ana, an interactive science museum.  I watched it grow as I drove by from time to time by during its construction.   Each facet is a square steel braced frame grid.  I think its upward-south-facing facet is covered with solar panels.  I've never stopped to see any details, like how it meets the ground.

Fellow engineers,
I remember seeing a cube-shaped structure somewhere off I-5 (east side), possibly near Anaheim, seemingly standing on one of it's corners.  Does anyone know where I can find some information on it (those of you who know what I'm talking about)?
