RE: NCSEA Annual Conference & NCAA Football

[Subject Prev][Subject Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next]
Not to belabor the point, but most meeting planners I know keep a 20-year planner on their desk (if they don't have access to one, they're given away but tons of people in the conference industry...I have one on my desk from Hilton and another from The Broadmoor). All list major religious holidays to help planners.

Additionally, to help those in the industry plan their activities, AISC will soon be publishing an events calendar featuring major structural conferences (we even include ACI). All Modern Steel Construction readers will be sent a calendar (if you don't currently subscribe, U.S.-based designers can receive a free subscription by visiting www.aisc.org and clicking on the MSC cover at the bottom of the screen). Since this is our first go-round, I'm sure we'll be missing some events. If we are, please send me or Carol Pivonka (pivonka(--nospam--at)aisc.org) an email and we'll try to incorporate the event into future calendars.

Happens all the time. Seems there's no universal calendar available for
avoiding conflicts.

...I'm certain that those who are hosting this conference had no idea that
it would coincide with Yom
Kippur...
