Yes, the mindset needs to change: Its focus must be removed from the brainwashing mantra, "....fundamentalism...terrorism etc" and diverted to examining the factors that leads a people to resort to the extreme form of resistance, viz., suicide bombing. The people in power don't want that thinking, though. They want to conveniently wish away the manipulation, policy influencing and other nefarious activities in the middle east to establish and maintain the superpower status.
