I believe that the table of "multipliers" is just a tabulation of common
values that are compiled from using the equations.  The equations are shown
just in case your conditions vary from those listed in the table.  Kind of
like how the NDS gives both equations and tables for bolted connection
values.  Hopefully someone else can verify this too.

I'm confused about the K_1, K_2, and K_3 factors for
determining the topographic factor, K_zt, per ASCE
7-98, Figure 6-2.  Eqns are given on the second page
of the Fig., but the first page of the Fig. has
"multipliers"???  Which to determine and which to use?
 HELP!
